I have this one since 7 months. Software is great (I have connected 2 PC to it: DP-DP and through USB-C-USB-C) I can toggle brightnes and contrast based on hour, I can switch between PC's connected during this switch also USB-B SoundBar SB502 connects between PC's. IPS Black is good, and picture is brighter than on the older monitors. Updated soudBar (V2) is much, much better, I really do like it, although it wasn't cheap. DP connection is 4K x 60Hz x 30bits USB clocks in 4K60Hz 24bits. I can confirm, that this is clear and crisp monitor (screen) compared to the other IPS models. It is still not the 5K level of my iMAC (550 nit glossy) but it is on the very good track. LCD and Software - this is great (LAN also reconnects as switching via keyboard shortcut). My model had - PAST TENSE - coil whine, it sopped at some point, which was surprising for me, but it did! If you read (as I do) sh.. ton of content for training, this thing is very good! Just remember you need OS with very good advanced scalling - when I turned NVidia SuperResolution... 1080p videos look amazing, card is running 60C but this is custom PC, it can.

The trick is not in the laser, but in the colour of the light and precise location at the angle that reveals the particles most efficiently.

Bought one for Christmas, it worked about 3 months and gets stuck now.

1. Damage to the monitor - Not true. 2. Eye glare - Partially true but can be taken care of by adjusting the position and angle of light. And, by controlling the brightness of the light. 3. Desk lamp is not necessarily better. Id say its a personal preference for what level of brightness and colour tone of ambient light a person would want.

I think most of your points while valid are addressed with better quality lightbars.

today I was reminded my mouse has a thumb button (which I haven't used in probably 2 years)! Thanks, this saved me from buying a new mouse!

This worked! To open up the mouse I had to use a T5 head for the 6 pointed star screws below the clickers and a J000 for the phillips screws on the sides below the pads. I had to reattach the ribbon connecting the top of the mouse to the bottom. Guess it jimmied loose when I opened the mouse.
